Under 5 dagar i månadsskiftet juni/juli, 2025 besökte knyppellärarna Stana Frelih och Ines Cuk från den Idrija i Slovenien, Vadstena för att studera svensk knyppling finansierade av ett Erasmusprojekt. Idrija är en stad av Vadstenas storlek med en stark knyppeltradition. Föreningen Svenska Spetsars kurser, Spetsmuseet och utställningen Spetsar på slottet besöktes. Slovenerna imponerades av den stora variation av provinsiella knyppeltraditioner som presenterades liksom av residensdeltagarnas personliga nytolkningar av knyppeltekniken.
Teachers from a bobbin lace school in Slovenia visited Vadstena
During 5 days in June/July, 2025 Stana Frelih and Ines Cuk from CSOD CIPARSKA SOLA in Idrija visited Vadstena in order to study Swedish bobbin lace traditions. Idrija is like Vadstena a small town with a strong bobbin lace tradition. They visited various bobbin lace courses arranged by the Swedish Association for Bobbin Lace (FSS), the Lace Museum and the exhibition Bobbin Lace in the Castle, arranged by Center for Swedish Bobbin Lace in Vadstena (CSKV). Their study visit was a part of an international Erasmus project.
